As frequently as possible, we will let you know what we have been up to and what we plan to do. Follow us on our journey!

“I am 64 years old and have lived in Deming most of my life. I am on a fixed income due to a disability, and the food from Project Comunidad has brought my household some desperately needed relief. I am truly grateful for their care and concern for our community.”

“Project Comunidad helps me get groceries. My income is low and my food stamps are limited. Their support helps me save money and access the food I need. It’s a great program for people with low income, including those experiencing homelessness.”

“Personally, it has helped me, my wife, and our four children—all under 10. It helps us get through the month, especially when we run out of EBT before it renews. Those 10–12 days without it feel like the longest. From the bottom of my heart, thank you—you are a blessing to my family and this community.”

"It is a way for me to give back to my community. It has truly opened my eyes to the needs of our community. I really enjoy meeting the people. This is a way we truly support each other. Until I started volunteering, I never really thought about how those without a home would store produce, let alone something that needs refrigeration or frozen food items. Our community is resilient. Being at the food pantry makes more appreciative not only for what I have but, for the people of Deming."
Thank you for stopping by!
